Injustice 2: Three DLC Characters Revealed In Trailer

Warner Brothers have announced three DLC characters for their game Injustice 2, along with the Ultimate and Digital Deluxe editions. Red Hood, Starfire, and Mortal Kombat’s Sub Zero will be included in both editions, but buyers of the Ultimate edition will get 9 DLC characters in total.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showcasing the first three DLC characters for Injustice 2 – Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Players will be able to battle it out with these iconic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilize their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition.  Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One beginning May 16. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero are still in development and will be available for download after the game launches.

The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition will include a total of nine playable characters; three Premiere Skins that transform select fighters into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue; and two exclusive new Gear Shaders that enable players to customize the look of their roster with alternate color themes.  The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition is available for pre-order now for $99.99.

The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will include Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero as playable characters; a Premiere Skin and an exclusive Gear Shader. The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order via PSN and the Xbox Store for $79.99.

Six silhouettes are seen standing behind the three announced characters in the announcement trailer. So far people have identified: Black Manta and Raiden. The figure on the left looks like he’s wearing a trench coat, so perhaps Constantine will be included as well.
